By the time babies are 18 months of age, their motor and language skills are getting better and day after day they will come up with new words and small sentences. Every time they listen to a story, they will be able to turn the pages of the book or tablet and to tell the names of the objects they see. At this age, a baby will also start associating names to persons, to recognise figures and to understand simple cause-effect relationships.
Baby: Active is an app conceived for children of this age group with the precise aim of encouraging their motor skills, their ability to recognise forms and sounds and to associate them to one another.
The Baby: Active "Learn" mode will show the baby funny animals drawings together with the sound they make. In this way babies will learn to match meows to cats, roarings to lions and so on. Moreover, the "Play" mode will show the baby a series of drawings (two, four, six and eight) and the noise related to only one of the animals appearing on the screen. The baby will have to learn to click (or to tap on the screen) on the card representing the animal that made the sound. For every right answer the baby will receive a prize that will make him/her want to keep on playing.
